This is just great (about Paul Krugman)
October 13th, 2008It has been more than a year that I have been devotedly reading Paul Krugman’s columns on the New York Times website. His very intelligent views on the world’s economy make him one of the top figures of my personal pantheon, right next to George Monbiot.
And guess what: he’s just been awarded the Nobel prize for economics. I feel like a one-man Nobel prize jury.
And vade retro Milton Friedman and consorts. High time for a change of spirit.
Paul Krugman has been one of my idols for years. A well-deserved prize.
As the (arrogant) French say: “c’est là que les grands esprits se rencontrent” (great minds think alike).
