Sorry, no Mandarine this Monday
September 25th, 2007I have jun run the math: if I try to have one picture of Mandarine every Monday, it will mean one picture of Mandarine in every second post (or every post sometimes). This would look like cult of personality, and she might grow arrogant.
There will be Mandarine on Monday, but only every first Monday in the month. Next installment: next Monday (October 2nd).
Well, I just hope Puck doesn’t find out about this. He might start demanding overtime, vacation pay, and even, god forbid, a union.
Don’t worry: I changed Mandarine’s contract accordingly (I am not sure she read all the small print about her pay being multiplied by 12/52).
Cats are so individualistic that I am not really afraid about a union. We’d be in much greater trouble if dogs had a union.
When I finally get a cat (fingers crossed, maybe for Christmas), maybe he or she can take the second Monday of every month, so two Mondays of every month will provide cat lovers with eye candy. (Now, I have to make sure I get a cat who doesn’t look at all like Mandarine, so people won’t confuse our blogs.)
