Are you kidding? I love your blog, and the suspense and everything. And I know it’s going to take a very interesting twist soon (please, say you’ll keep up).
I’m honored to be on your blogroll Mandarine! Oh, and I have just spent two wonderful days playing with LyX thanks to you. It’s exactly what I was looking for!
I had tried LyX to start with, but I rapidly chose to stick to plain text editors (TeXnicCenter or TeXlipse). When I am in fine editing mode, I am glad to have two screens: one for the code, and one for the pdf rendering.
Oh yes! Of course I want to keep it up… Even with the twist…
I’ve been told that very interesting stories await me. I won’t be able to ignore them. I just hope I won’t over do it, and the site will still retain some of what it is today: pre-twist.
I didn’t want to mention it myself, but thanks for fixing the typo you had in the blog roll before! I will probably fix up my own soon enough. As it currently stands, my site is in desperate need of renovation.
Wow, things have progressed since I was here last. I updated the link to wisemandarine.com.
And what is this I read about LyX? Were you teaching Sarah how to use LaTeX with LyX as a starting point? I tried LyX in my early LaTeX days and liked it for a time. Now, it is back to good old “vi” and dvips and ps2pdf. Is one allowed to use the H-word on your blog, as in “I hate emacs” ?
You are right about LyX: I really think it is an entry point for LaTeX, but then people gradually learn that seeing what you get is not all that important.
I like TeXlipse, because it compiles on-the-fly, letting you know about errors as you type.
Wow. I made the cut again. Wasn’t so sure about that… I’m very honored again Mandarine.

Uh-oh, now I have to live up to being on your blogroll along with all these other extremely talented people.
Exactly: with all these other extremely talented people.
You ARE a devil. I was thinking more along the lines of “other (extremely talented) people.” But I like your interpretation better.
I’m extremely flattered at being included in such august company, thank you. The pressure is on!
You should not be feeling any pressure. After all, you are an extremely talented person (cf. Emily’s comment).

You’re welcome. I am sorry. There should not have been a typo in the first place.
